Before founding Opturion, he held a senior leadership positions at CSIRO, where he led major initiatives in logistics, transport, and supply chain innovation.
Under Alan’s leadership, Opturion has evolved from a research-driven startup into a trusted partner for some of Australia’s largest and most complex organisations. His mission is to make intelligent optimisation accessible and practical, bridging the gap between research and industry. He holds a PhD in Business Decision Support Systems and is a regular speaker at international conferences and industry events.
